Can this face oil be used on acne-prone skin? Will it clog my pores?

This oil was formulated with oily, blemish-prone skin in mind. We chose the combination of oils in this blend very carefully to ensure it would be effective at reducing overactive oil secretion and clogged pores.  

Will this product help to minimize the appearance of my pores?

Rosehip oil and cranberry seed oil, two of the main ingredients in this formula, have astringent properties that help to tighten pores.  

Is this product non-comedogenic?

Yes! We use lightweight non-comedogenic oils in this formulation. 

I see Om has two types of serums; face elixirs and face oils. What's the difference?

Our face elixirs are water-based, and our face oils are oil-based.  

Our water-based serums contain hyaluronic acid - a highly effective ingredient when seeking more hydration. Om recommends using both a face elixir and a face oil. Why should I use both?

Ultimately, our skin needs both water and oil to be in balance. Our elixirs provide hydration (water) and nutrients to the skin, whereas our oils provide moisturization with the lipids needed to fortify the skin cells. They work synergistically to increase hydration of the skin while improving barrier function and overall quality of the skin. Also, our elixirs absorb instantly and when you blend an elixir and an oil together, the oil will absorb much deeper into the skin than if you were to apply an oil on its own.
