The Canadian Cancer Society states that based on 2009 cancer rates, 1 in 4 Canadians will die of cancer, 40% of women will develop cancer, and 45% of men will. Yikes!!! Those statistics are pretty alarming to us and we want to help you start to make subtle changes in your life that could help save it. This informative and fun workshop is designed to give you a brief overview of things you can do to help prevent getting cancer – you'll leave with a new attitude and an arsenal of tips to help keep you strong, healthy, and happy.

What little girl doesn't love getting her toes painted!? But are you hesitant to use traditional (toxic) nail polish …..drop in for a quickie polish application on your little's girls toes. We'll apply your little angel's favourite colour of our water-based nail polish on her tender tootsies. No appointment necessary but if you're bringing in more than one child you may need to wait a few minutes – each little girl will be given a small gift to bring home as well!

Want to have your makeup done professionally but hoping to stay green?
 Our professional makeup artists can apply your makeup for your prom, grad, big date, job interview, party, or just for a big night out. All cosmetics used are chemical-free and eco-friendly. Makeover options may be booked Monday to Friday between 10:30 – 6:30.
Option # 1 – Basic Makeover ( free!)
Book your free makeover anytime during our store hours, however the time is not dedicated and you may get interrupted if other customers come in and need to make some purchases.
Option # 2 – Deluxe Makeover ($30)
Spend a half hour of one-on-one time with our professional makeup artist getting glamed up and beautiful! Choose your own colours or have her pick them for you. This is a great option if you’re looking to try healthy cosmetic products, hoping to find a new makeup look for the season, or just want to get gorgeous for your big night out or event. Your $30 fee is redeemable in makeup purchases if you choose.
Option # 3 – Makeup 101 ($50)
Don’t wear makeup because you have no idea how to apply it? Wear makeup but feel like your look may be stuck in the 80s? Or do you wear makeup but are just looking for some professional tips and techniques to take it up a notch? This option is truly a mini makeup course in a one-hour personalized session. Our professional makeup artist will shape your eyebrows, give you a personalized makeup session and help you pick your best colours. Ask any questions you’d like and leave feeling confident with your new makeup regime. Your $50 fee is redeemable in makeup purchases if you choose.
Eco-Makeup Parties

Great for Girls Night Out, Small Corporate Events, Wedding Showers, etc.
Looking for something different and fun to do with your girlfriends? Offer to host a makeup party at our boutique. We’ll provide a professional makeup artist, a chic venue, and lots of makeup to have fun with.
 Your evening can be one of two great options:
- Start the evening with an introduction to healthy makeup, review some important makeup do’s and don'ts, learn application tips and techniques, and then spend some time trying and testing your favourite products and colours on yourself or on each other. Our makeup artist will be circulating to help you try your new skills, answer any questions, or assist those in need!
- Start the evening with a quick intro to healthy makeup and then start your individual makeovers – as you wait for your turn you’ll have the chance to test and try anything you’d like including our makeup, perfumes, facial, and body products. What fun!!
- $20 per person
- Available from 7 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on weekdays only.
- Minimum of 4 and maximum of 6 ladies please. |
