Suki's View on Animal Testing

Suki do not and will not test on animals. Ever. Suki also take it a step further, making sure their suppliers never test on animals either.

Unfortunately, very often in this industry, things are not as they appear and companies will claim their product is not tested on animals when in reality, formulas were tested leading up to the final marketed product.

All a company has to say is that the formula currently on the market is not tested on animals. They can formulate a product and test it, then change a couple of drops and put that product on the market as animal testing free. The EU has banned this practice recently but the United States and other areas still allow it to continue.

If you want to be certain that you are supporting ethical manufacturers, look for companies that tell you NONE of their products are tested on animals and that they are against animal testing of any kind. also look for companies who are concerned also with the amount of synthetic ingredients they use. synthetics, fragrances, preservatives get into the earth, into the drinking/ground water, they pollute all living things. Cruelty-free, to Suki, does not stop at animal testing issues but also involves the ingredients they choose to make sure they are biodegradable.

Note: Suki uses bee products (beeswax, honey) and ensure all of their bee products come from ethical sources that do not harm bees in production.
