Oh Mama! Earth Mama Angel Baby
It's so nice to love a product, then do some research and love it more. After purchasing Earth Mama Angel Baby gifts for pregnant pals, I was fortunate to correspond with company owner, Melinda Olson. After talking to me about some problems I'd had with lactating, as well as my rambunctious almost-three year old, Melinda put together a delightful package that served my needs.
The company creates wonderful, all natural, organic herbal goods for mamas-to-be, mamas-in-progress, breastfeeding mamas and babies of all stages! Ingenious Happy Mama Spray, helpful for morning sickness, really does make me and my toddler smile! Clever, organic cotton-covered, seed-filled Booby Tubes soothe sore breasts, whether you want cool relief or a warm compress. One suggestion though - if you leak a lot like I did, drop them into a baggie before using, as they aren't washable! No More Milk Tea helped with painful engorgement (to be used when weaning, not for those first weeks when you haven't got the hang of it yet!). The pleasant Peaceful Mama Tea relaxes me and helps me have a deep sleep, but doesn't make me feel groggy or like I'd miss my baby calling me in the middle of the night.
As for my own little angel, she loves the foaming Angel Baby Shampoo & Body Wash, which is ever so mild, with a whiff of lavender, and she proclaims the Angel Baby Lotion "smells like buttermilk orange cookie!" And now that she's out of diapers, her bottom rashes are of a different sort, and Angel Baby Bottom Balm takes care of them, as well as any scrapes, bites or rough patches on her other parts. I'm loving my Earth Mama Body Butter which smells light and divine, but not too sweet, and formulated not to intensify your morning sickness.
The web site is whimsical and informative, with an entire library of articles to help you sort through the questions you may have about all the stages of pregnancy, as well as suggestions for environmentally sound parenting and safe personal care. They also have a line of Guided Relaxation CDs, and gift buckets, gift baskets and gift kits galore. And every mama I've gifted with Earth Mama Angel Baby products has been a happy one. I love this company so much that I would feel comfortable trying anything, but there are some sure-fire items I recommend. Everything is made with such care and consideration, and after chatting with Melinda it's clear that it's all made with love too.
